Hussle & Bussle

Today started with a barrage of emails and check ins which made the morning go by incredibly fast. I love it when you're being productive, nothing is going wrong and you've got sweet jamz coming out of pandora with a cup of joe in hand. Its mornings like this that can really set the mood for the day/ weekend. :)
Im really STOKED because today we got a new table for the new studio! Things are really starting to come together here. We've even had the first meeting with the interior decorator!! Big plans are in store folks. :)

For starters, check out this uber cute wren/lucky tee:





Lucky magazine asked their favorite brands to design and contribute a t shirt for their 10 year anniversary! This shirt depicts all of Melissa's favorite things (kittens galore!). cute, dontyathink? I find myself staring at it sometimes when im trying to work out things in my head. Kittens can be good for the thought process I've discovered.



Sending out pieces can be my favorite part of the day sometimes. especially when its a gift and i take the time to wrap it in tissue paper and write a little note for the person receiving. I've been told my handwriting is impeccable.




This rack was brought into the studio for me (as well as the table). Right now it looks empty and bare but you wouldn't believe how FAST this will fill up. I guarantee you by the end of next week It'll be just as packed as the others. With all the samples coming in from new york ill be able to get around the studio a little bit easier with this baby.




And here is the table I was talking about! I was originally gonna take pics of the guys that delivered it and them putting it together but then I ended up helping them set it up. It may not look like it but this thing was huge and heavy and not easy to maneuver. Trying to keep everything neat and clean in our little corner and this table will definitely help with that. I didn't realize how hard it is to stay organized, pieces and samples would be strewn about if it weren't for my fellow studio mates and ;).




see look it! doesn't that look responsible and not cluttered?? I gave myself a pat on the back for that one.




and last but not least will you LOOK AT THIS STATIONARY? i used to it to send out the box of presents and I couldn't get over how adorable this is. Melissa said its her 2nd grade cards. I was scared to write on it for fear of misspelling because we only had one left. (and one we kept for the memories. Obvi.) xx

That's all for now folks, I'm cleaning up the space and getting ready for the weekend. I hope this weather is here to stay because if so I'm headed straight to the beach for Sunday fun day. Hope you are all well. Hakunah Matata.
